New for this Summer, our bespoke Shepherd's Hut offering 'glamourous camping' in our small woodland, where our chickens free range.The perfect place to rest a while.........



Our newly built Shepherd's hut is based on an old fashioned traditonal hut, used in the lambing season. It is constructed on a wheeled steel chassis, with pine exterior and interior, and tin roof.

Fully insulated, this 'eco hut' with solar powered electrics, and wood fuelled cooker with oven, is the perfect retreat at anytime of the year, at just £25 per night, or £150 per week for 2 people.

There is a luxurious full size bed with Egyptian cotton linen, and large fluffy white towels for your shower just a 60 second walk away in the big house, where there are also toilet facilties day and night.The shower room has a hair dryer.

The hut is fully equipped for self catering with sink, water, table, chairs, cooking utensils and cutlery to enable you to prepare your meals using the wood burning stove. You can also opt to have our awarded winning breakfast in the main house for just £10 per person.The Hut has a fridge in a nearby boiler house.The power sockets are 12 volt, and there is an inverter which converts power to standard 240 volts to enable you to plug in your dvd player, computer , phone charger etc.In fact any appliance up to 150 watts.

There is a small grassed area next to the Shepherds Hut, and if you bring a tent, it is an ideal spot for children, free to have fun, so that Mum and Dad can relax........there is a charge of £5 per night to pitch your tent.

With books to read and games to play, the ideal spot to relax.........





There is an outside seating area with a hammock, BBQ and somewhere to light a fire, surrounded by trees and the local wildlife.
